Every May 25 since 1963, Africa celebrates its day through various events in almost every major capital of the world. This is the opportunity chosen by the permanent representative of the Commission of the African Union in Brussels and the whole of his team to maintain all the diplomatic missions based in the European capital on the issues of Africa in the 21st century. Admittedly, an agenda drawn up by African Union experts is circulating for objectives to be achieved in the next fifty years, but the celebration of this day is also of paramount importance for all Africans around the world. What Africa do we want for what issues? What is the role of the continent in the concert of nations? I am therefore very honored to lead, for the first time, the celebrations of this celebration as Program Director.
